Hello

Kristen is a grateful believer in and follower of the Lord, Jesus Christ. She has served on staff at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama for over fifteen years and she is currently the Minister of Spiritual Development and Women's Ministry. She serves on the Storyteller's Live Board and is encouraged by women sharing personal and powerful stories of hope found in Jesus. Kristen is also a certified fitness instructor and has taught a variety of classes for almost thirty years, most recently, immerse, an intermediate stretch and strengthen class centered around Scripture. Kristen is a former educator in the Homewood School System and has served on the Homewood City Schools Foundation Board for the last four years. With each stage and season of her life, she has grown in her passion for being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. Glorifying God has taken many different shapes--from dancing, to teaching, to ministering--evidence of God at work in the daily. Kristen is blessed beyond measure by God's goodness, grace, and mercy through the people and experiences in her life, especially her family, friends, and faith community. She is grateful for her partnership in the gospel with her husband, Angel, a deep-thinking, mission-minded, drum-playing godly man, and her son, Dante, who is a joy-filled, soccer/tennis-loving, faith-growing, drummer boy. Kristen's love for the Lord, her love for God's Word, and her love of movement has inspired IMMERSE. She is grateful for any opportunity to share her testimony, encourage others, or provide an immerse experience.
